Overview
Enjoy a combination of riding and cultural exploration in the historical region of Lot and receive a warm welcome from your hosts on this small group personal stay. Two full and two half days of riding in the Causses of Quercy Regional Natural Park can be combined with an optional programme of arranged visits to the major sights of this emblematic region such as Rocamadour, and the medieval village of St Cirq Lapopie. You could also explore on your own with a rental car or simply relax by the swimming pool. There is also the option to book more riding on site if wished.
This is an ideal holiday to relax, with 12 hours of easy and calm riding, comfortable accommodation and time to spend with accompanying non-riders. The freshly prepared food is excellent and a gourmet restaurant visit one evening and a wine tasting of the regions wines are included.
Included/Excluded
Full board basis from diner on day 1 to breakfast on day 7, non-alcoholic beverages and wine with dinner when eating on site, riding program as described. Sightseeing and single supplement are optional.
Transfers, beer and alcoholic drinks other than wine with dinner, any drinks in restaurants. Visits and single supplements are optional. Extra riding can be arranged on site.

Day 2
Day 2
Saturday: You arrive at the Mas de Peyrelongue in the late afternoon. After a visit of the property and a first meeting with our horses, we will share a drink and dinner.
Sunday: After breakfast, a first horseback ride around the property will allow you to familiarise yourself with your horse and discover the area with your guide. Lunch is taken at the Mas. For those who have chosen the "visits" option, the afternoon will be devoted to the discovery of the magnificent medieval village of St Cirq Lapopie, one of the most beautiful villages in France and elected favourite village of the French in 2014. Dinner at the Mas.
Monday : Breakfast at the Mas. Departure for a two-part ride with a picnic at the Puy-Blanc ponds, a protected natural area on the site of an old clay quarry. Four hours of horse riding on the programme. On your return to the Mas, relaxation and gourmet dinner.
Tuesday: Breakfast at the Mas. Another hike on the Causse, towards the Menhir de Bélinac, symbol of the long human presence on our territory. After lunch at the Mas, free afternoon or, for those who have opted for the "visits" option, we will go and admire the Pech Merle cave and its moving prehistoric murals. Dinner at the Mas.
Wednesday: Breakfast at the Mas. The horses rest. Free day for those who have not chosen the "visits" option. For the others, we drive to the Gouffre de Padirac and its underground boat trip to discover one of the most majestic underground rivers in France. We will have lunch in an emblematic farm of the region before visiting the city of Rocamadour and its sanctuary built into the cliff. Return to the Mas at the end of the afternoon and dinner.
Thursday: Breakfast at the Mas. We will meet our mounts for a full day of riding. After a descent into the valley through the authentic village of Corn, you will pass the mysterious spring of Bual, take a wooded part of the Way of St James before a deserved lunch break at the priory of Espagnac. In the afternoon, you will go back up to the south side of the valley to walk along the ridges and enjoy the view before returning to the north side to find the property. In the evening, a special evening of wine and local products will be offered!
Friday : Breakfast at the Mas and departure. Do not hesitate to take advantage of the weekend to continue your discovery of our beautiful department. We are at your service to propose you choices of visits, accommodation or restaurants to discover!
